Friction Model - This simulation implements the friction model developed in the paper "A New Continuously Differentiable Friction Model for Control Systems Design". Various regimes of friction are implemented in the simulation demonstrating the flexibility of the model.

Friction Identification - The 'Friction Identification' simulation implements the adaptive controller developed in 'Lyapunov-Based Tracking Control in the Presence of Uncertain Nonlinear Parameterizable Friction'. This controller has an adaptive term that identifies friction online and compensates for it.

Joint Space Simulation - The folder contains the files for the joint space simulation problem. The end-effector of a two link robot is regulated to the desired position assuming uncertain kinematic and camera calibration parameters using a real-time optimization (downhill simplex) routine. The desired end-effector position is set in the camera coordinates.
