Jian Chen received his doctorate degree under the advisement of Dr. Dawson (chair) and Dr. Dixon (co-chair) from the Department of Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, SC, in 2005. After graduating, Jian accepted a position as a postdoctoral researcher at Clarkson University in Potsdam N.Y.
