Wei Wang, Ph.D. (visited 2006)

Wei Wang received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1997. From 1998 to 2000, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China. He joined the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2001, where he has been an associate professor since then. His research interests include field robots, mobile robots and teleoperated robots under hazardous environments. He is currently a visiting scholar at the NCR group, the University of Florida, where his duty is mobile robot hardware refinement and theoretical control development.
